Indian culture is very vast and rich, the food, clothing, language, and art differs from city to state.
There are 4000 cities, 28 states, and 8 union territories. India is heritage of languages, religions, dance, music, architecture, food.
Culture of India has endless variety of art forms, cusine, costumes and festivals. India has a multi religion country, Each religion have their own food and festivals.
such diversity makes India 'AN INCREDIBLE INDIA'
India is beautiful in its own way, an ancient arts and cultures of India make it rich in its own habitat. Every region in India has its own style and pattern of art, which is known as folk art.
Apart of that there is another type of art also exist which is practised by tribals and domestic population, which is known as tribal art.
The folk and tribal arts of India are very ethnic and simple, and yet colorful and vibrant enough to speak volumes about the country's rich heritage.
Famous folk paintings of India are the Madhubani paintings of Bihar, Patachitra paintings from the state of Odisha, the Nirmal paintings of Andhra Pradesh, tanjore and miniature paintings art from Rajasthan, warli painting from Maharashtra.
These folk art bear distinctive colorful designs, beautiful and vibrant motifs.
Folk art is however not restricted only to paintings, but also stretches to other art forms such as pottery, home decorations, ornaments, cloths-making, and so on. In fact, the potteries of some of the regions of India are quite popular among foreign tourists because of their ethnic and traditional beauty.
Moreover, the regional dances of India, such as the Bhangra dance of Punjab, the Dandiya of Gujarat, the Bihu dance of Assam, etc, which project the cultural heritage of those regions,
these are also prominent art forms of our Indian folk art.
India is land of such beautiful and endless culture, the variety of art forms are countless, henceforth it is most joyful to experience, these rare cultures which one will only find nowhere other than India.
